Spectrometab Ecosystem
Connecting Analytical Data with Scientific Discovery
The Spectrometab Ecosystem is an evolving collection of specialised analytical platforms developed by Spectrometab Biotechnologies Sdn. Bhd. to simplify and enhance the interpretation of mass spectrometry data. By combining scientific expertise, computational tools, established chemical databases, and intelligent data interpretation, our ecosystem aims to bridge the gap between complex analytical results and meaningful scientific discoveries. Designed to complement existing analytical workflows, the Spectrometab Ecosystem provides researchers with accessible, efficient, and scientifically informed solutions for metabolomics research.

From Compound Detection to Meaningful Interpretation
Spectrometab Insight is a web-based metabolomics profiling and interpretation platform designed to streamline the post-processing of LC-MS/MS analytical results.
Currently optimised for data exported from Thermo Scientific Compound Discoverer, the platform integrates existing analytical evidence with chemical classification, database enrichment, biological information, and scientific literature to support comprehensive compound profiling.
Why Choose Spectrometab Insight?
-
Simplified Data Interpretation: Reduce time spent on repetitive manual review, compound verification, and database searching.
-
Evidence-Based Annotation: Assess compound identities using analytical evidence, including accurate mass, adduct assignments, mzCloud matching, and FISh fragmentation support.
-
Comprehensive Chemical Classification: Organise detected compounds into meaningful chemical classes and subclasses.
-
Biological Relevance: Explore reported natural sources, biological activities, and potential scientific significance.
-
Literature-Assisted Interpretation: Facilitate the retrieval and interpretation of relevant scientific publications.
-
Streamlined Scientific Reporting: Generate structured, research-ready results for downstream analysis and scientific communication.
Spend less time organising analytical results and more time understanding their scientific significance.

Chemotaxonomy & Biological Classification
(Under Development)
Spectrometab Atlas is a chemotaxonomy platform being developed to explore chemical fingerprints and metabolomic similarities among biological organisms, supporting chemotaxonomic classification and identification.

Mass Spectrometry-Based Structural Elucidation
(Under Development)
Spectrometab Decode is a structural elucidation platform being developed to facilitate the interpretation of mass spectrometric fragmentation patterns and support the identification and characterisation of chemical structures.
Important Notice
Spectrometab Ecosystem is intended to assist with metabolomics data processing, compound annotation, literature retrieval, and scientific interpretation. Results generated by the platform should be regarded as computer-assisted analytical interpretations and should not be considered definitive compound identification without appropriate experimental validation.
Compound annotations may be derived from information provided by Compound Discoverer, spectral-library matching, database records, predicted molecular composition, fragmentation evidence, literature reports, and other computational approaches. Database entries, artificial-intelligence-generated interpretations, and literature-derived information may contain incomplete, conflicting, or inaccurate information.
Users are therefore responsible for critically reviewing generated results and confirming important compound identities using appropriate analytical evidence, such as authentic reference standards, retention-time comparison, diagnostic MS/MS fragmentation, or other orthogonal analytical methods where required.
Spectrometab Ecosystem does not replace professional scientific judgement and should not be used as the sole basis for clinical diagnosis, medical decisions, regulatory conclusions, or other high-stakes applications.
By proceeding with an analysis, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted these limitations.
